We're excited that we've had the chance to work with the Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan, on two episodes of their show where we have created two live edge tables and a mantle for two home renos! The brothers are great to work with, always fun and really down to earth and friendly.
This live edge table is an 11' black walnut bookmatch with amazing grain and colour. The brothers asked us to make a custom stainless steel table base that would compliment the décor of this beautiful home they renovated in Mississauga, Ontario. They also commissioned us to create a modern mantle from a reclaimed 1880s barn beam; they wanted it to have a rustic touch but to also elegant and sleek to fit in perfectly with the décor in this open concept living area.
We've loved having the opportunity to work on these two episodes creating custom pieces for the Property Brothers and the homeowners. Our favourite part has been seeing the expressions on the homeowners' faces when they see their new tables in the renovated spaces and how much they love the tables that we have made for them!
